Properties and characteristics:

The anti-inflammatory action of the horse chestnut is due to the presence of flavonoids, the escinas are responsible for the anti-oedematous effect and can also increase the tone of the veins. The anti-oedematous activity of the escinas is quite durable, observing a persistence for several days, its activity and therapeutic spectrum being much superior to that of the flavonoid routine.
